Data sovereignty with energy of our own. We are building artificial intelligence compute on Brazilian soil, in a place chosen for its sun, wind, water for cooling and people to run it.
Source: National Electric System Operator data compiled by the sector press, January to April 2026. Wind: 1,806 average MW curtailed. Solar: 1,037 average MW.
Processing sensitive data abroad stopped being a technical detail and became a contract risk. The catch is that bringing the processing home usually costs more, because energy is the largest line in any data center bill. That is exactly where the equation turns in our favour.
Between January and April this year Brazil curtailed 2,843 average MW of wind and solar generation for lack of transmission, and 79% of that happened in the Northeast. Clean energy, generated, and switched off by order of the grid operator. Transmitting it costs billions and takes years. Putting the load next to it costs a fraction.
That is why Buobe Cloud is not being assembled just anywhere. It is being assembled where there is surplus energy, water for cooling, established industrial infrastructure and qualified people to operate it. This is not regional rhetoric, it is the requirement list of a compute plant.
Processing on Brazilian infrastructure, under Brazilian data protection law. For anyone handling patient, student or citizen data, that stopped being a preference and became a contract requirement.
The base currency is the Brazilian real, with no exchange rate exposure buried in next month's invoice. Foreign institutions or companies that want to research and develop with us in Brazil are not blocked by currency: we work with more than one.
Reserved machines, with real isolation and not only logical separation. That is what allows signing a service level commitment with customers who audit.
Semantic search, classification, translation and model fine tuning running every day, for years, in our own operation. We are not learning on your project: the machine arrives with people who know how to run it.
We will not announce a data center that does not exist yet. Stage one is the plant that serves Buobe's own operation, the first partners, and academic research in the idle window. It is sized to prove the operation, not to impress with a number.
Stage two is the expansion, and it grows out of stage one: every contract on this list defines the size of the next. Joining now means price and terms set before capacity exists, and migrating first when it grows.
| Item | Phase one |
|---|---|
| Region | Northeast Brazil, in an area with a renewable energy matrix, water available for cooling, established industrial infrastructure and a qualified workforce |
| Architecture | NVIDIA L40S 48 GB accelerators, in eight-card nodes |
| Initial capacity | Sized against the demand registered on this list, before assembly |
| Workload profile | Inference and fine tuning. This is not a frontier model training plant |
| Power | Local grid with backup generation. The region's renewable matrix is why we are here, not a claim about this plant |
| Research | Idle window open to research institutions in the region |
| Start of operation | Announced first to those on the waiting list |
Capacity is not yet available for contracting. This page exists to register interest and set the order of the queue, not to sell what does not exist yet.
Companies running inference abroad, paying in dollars, with no control over where the data is processed.
Health, education, legal and public sector, where the origin of processing is a contract requirement and not a technical preference.
Farms facing transmission constraints that would rather sell to a neighbouring load than watch generation be curtailed by order of the grid operator.
Research groups without access to accelerators, who can use the plant's idle window.
No commitment and no cost. Before selling anything, we want to understand what you run today, what it costs and what bothers you about it. That is how we size the plant against real demand.
We reply with whatever is already settled on price and timing, plainly, even when the answer is that we cannot serve your case yet.
